Nurse Rewards allows you to reward Nurses based on the number of hours they have worked for your Agency.
The setup for Nurse rewards is under Data Entry, you setup the number of rewards points to be accrued for each hour worked in Accounting Values against Reward Conversion Rate (this is how many points are accrued per hour);
and the types of rewards and the points required to achieve the reward in Data Entry > Types > Reward Types, you can detail what the reward is and how many points will be redeemed for that reward.
Once the Nurse Rewards information is setup, reward points will be accumulated for your Nurses when payroll is run and the information is displayed in the Nurse Rewards Accumulated tabs.
When a Nurse has achieved a reward, it is recorded on the Rewards Advanced tab. The information is automatically updated on the Nurse Accumulated tab.
There are several reports to assist with managing and monitoring your Nurse Rewards program.
There are three Nurse Rewards Reports.
Nurse Rewards Report – A separate page for each Nurse shows the Rewards Points Accumulated, Advanced and the Balance. A history of each Reward provided to the Nurse is also detailed.
Nurse Rewards Advanced Report – Only Nurses who have received a Reward are included on this report. A summary of the Rewards Points Accumulated, Advanced, the Balance and a history of each Reward provided is included.
Reward Hours Report – Details the total number of hours a Nurse has worked that accrued reward points.
Profile Links
The Nurse Summary, Contacts and Notes information tabs in Nurse Rewards are linked to the Nurse Information tabs.
Contacts and Notes recorded and updated in the Nurse Rewards Menu will be displayed in the Nurse Information tabs and vice versa
Rewards Accumulated tab
The Rewards Accumulated tab shows:
Rewards Points Accumulated – this updated when payslips are generated.
Reward Points Advanced – total number of points used to reward the Nurse.
Rewards Points Balance – number of rewards points available.
Pay period details of the reward points earned and the hours worked are also included on this tab.
Rewards Advanced tab
When a Nurse is provided with a Reward it is recorded on the Rewards Advanced tab.
To record a Reward provided to a Nurse:
Select Insert
Date
Select the Reward – the type of Reward and Number of Points to be deducted for the reward will be displayed. The number of Reward Points can be changed if required.
When you leave the Rewards Advanced tag:
• The reward information is saved;
• The name and date of the User who inserted the reward will be recorded next the reward;
• The Rewards Points Balance and Rewards Points Advanced on the Rewards Accumulated tab will be updated.
You cannot delete a reward after is has been applied. If the Reward was entered in error, you can change the Reward Points to zero 00. This will update the Rewards Points Balance and the Rewards Points Advanced. We recommend a Note be created to document the change and why. You can create a Note Type of Nurse Rewards under Data Entry > Types > Notes.
