The Tax Information tab is read only and displays the taxation information for a Nurse and is captured when you add a Nurse on the Edit Nurse screen.
Editing Tax Information
To edit tax information -
- Select Edit to open the Edit Nurse screen.
- Update information as required.
- OK – Save and Verify.
- Verify the information updated and OK to save.
Venus accommodates Nurses who are Contractors who are either companies and independents contractors.
Independant Contractors receive a payslip with PAYG Withholding Tax and Employer Compulsory Superannuation Contributions. They receive a Business and Personal Services Income Payment Summary.
Company Contractors receive a remittance advice, not a payslip and they do not receive a Payment Summary.
When the Contractor button is selected a number of fields appear relating to the Contractors information.
Complete the information as required. Check with your Accountant if you are not sure if the Contractor is a Company or Independent Contractor.
