The Retrospective Super Fund should be used when a Nurse has not provided their Super Fund details when commencing employment (and they have been paid and accumulated Super) or they have changed Super Funds and advised you after the effective date.
Retrospective Super Funds allows you to change a Nurse’s Superannuation Fund information for previous Account Periods and will be reflected in the Super Reports.
The Retrospective Super Fund does not change the Super Fund details recorded on the Nurse Super Information tab. It will only update the Super Fund details for the nominated account periods.
Ensure the Nurse Super Tab is updated to reflect any change in the Super Information.
The Retrospective Super Fund should NOT be used for Account Periods already reported to the Super Fund.
Care needs to be taken when applying this function. You will need to reconcile the amended details with any superannuation reports or payments made.
