The Availability Filter tab records additional criteria about a Hospital’s preferred Nurse, e.g. driver’s license, gender, age etc.  These criteria can be activated in the Single and Multiple-Shift Rating screens to refine the potential Nurses for a shift.

It is not compulsory for a Hospital to record Availability Filter criteria and is mostly used by Agencies who provide patient and community-based care. 

There are five Availability Filter fields -

1. Driver’s License – Tick if the nurse must have a current driver’s license.
2. Own Vehicle – Tick if the Nurse must have own vehicle.
3. Gender – Select if the gender of the Nurse is important in delivering the appropriate care.
4. Minimum Age and Maximum Age – If age is important in delivering the appropriate care.
5. Availability Filter Comments is a free text area to record information about the hospital that needs to be considered when selecting a nurse for a shift.
