Editing an Allowance Type

Data Entry > Allowance Types

When editing an allowance, the following fields cannot be updated –

1. The Description
2. The Start Date or
3. How the allowance is applied.

To edit an allowance –

1. Overtype the fields as required.
2. The information is saved when you leave the screen.

Important Point

If the Nurse Pay Amount or the Hospital Charge Amount is being updated, we recommend an End Date for the existing allowance and a new allowance be created with the new rates and the appropriate Start Date.
