Performance Optimization: Show Shift Notes on Roster
A new column, "Show Shift Notes on Roster," has been added to the Data entry -> Shift Request & Roster Setup screen.
Default Setting: Yes
The Issue: When this flag is set to No, the system counts the number of linked Shift Notes for each roster during loading. This additional calculation can cause the Roster screen to load slowly.
The Solution: If you experience slow loading times on the Roster screen, changing this column setting to No will optimize performance and speed up the roster retrieval process.
Note: Even when this setting is turned No (and the count of Shift Notes is not displayed on the screen), you can still click the Shift Notes column to open and view the detailed notes as usual. This optimization purely removes the background counting overhead to boost loading speed.
