Cloning a Roster duplicates a shift for a Nurse and Hospital for a number of shifts over a period of time.
PLEASE NOTE: By Default, the clone roster screen will pre-fill all variables of the roster being cloned, including the date, so you must change the start date to the first occurrence of the new single or series of rosters to be cloned.
Highlight the roster to be cloned, right mouse click and then select “Clone Roster”.
- Hospital - Will Prefill from the original roster being cloned
- Nurse/Staff - Will duplicate what is entered in the original roster, either blank or filled
- Default Shift Type - Will Prefill from the original roster being cloned
- Override Saturday and Sunday Shift types must be completed if you want Saturday or Sunday rates to be applied on the weekend.
- Start and End time - Will be the beginning and end of the shifts on a per day basis.
- Start Date - This will be the day of the first in the series of rosters being created, please note that the date pre-filled will be the same as the original roster chosen to be cloned, so to avoid duplicating that roster at the same date and time, please change the date to what is required of the first roster in the series of new rosters being cloned,
- Last Possible End Date - Use this option where you want to create a string of rosters to a defined end date, any days ticked in the "Day" will be cloned out at the interval selected in the "Day Increment"
- Number of Rosters to Add - Will add the number of rosters chosen on the days ticked in the "Day" and will be cloned out at the interval selected in the "Day Increment"
