This guide explains how to manage the Reportable Fringe Benefit Amount (RFBA) for your employees.
1. Entering RFBA Information
You can record and manage an employee's RFBA details directly within their profile.
Navigate to the Nurse screen.
Select the relevant employee from the list.
Click on the RFBA tab to access the entry fields.
Enter the Year Ending, Reportable Fringe Benefits Code (e.g., Taxable, Exempt), Reportable Fringe Benefits Amount, and Description as required.
2. Impact on STP Submission
The RFBA information entered in the Nurse screen is automatically reflected in your final Single Touch Payroll (STP) report.
When generating the final STP submission for the financial year, ensure the 'Final payroll data for the end of financial year' indicator is selected.
The system will include the RFB Exemption Status Code and Payee RFB Amount in the final submission data for the respective employees.
Note: Please ensure that all payroll data is final and correct before submitting the EOFY report.
